Wheels, Grills and Headlights

A few years ago I was let go from a job for being robbed (with a gun to my head). It was a really good paying job and I was comfortable. What really went on was my reacquired boss decided to listen to some lies from an old employee and used those against me. When I didn’t quit from the harassment, something was created to fire me for. He had had a man hired already to replace me but I was assured by HR that it was a mistake that it was posted a new GM was hired and that he was going to be an assistant manager to myself and the GM at another location. Not sure why I overlooked that when I went to the lawyer because that was the only case I would have had. New Mexico is a right to work state, they can fire someone for not tying their shoes. Anyway, I got a little down after that, and the time it took to find a new job. I turned to books by Brene Brown and blogs like Karen Walrond’s. I even took some of Karen’s self help courses. One thing I learned then was to make a life list (which can be found on my menu bar). There are many things in that list that will probably never happen, not unless I somehow come into money before I get too old to enjoy them. But, some of the list was created around my new love of photography. On my list is 50 pictures of Wheels, Grills and Headlights. I only have 10 more to go. Getting there.
