I took my camera with me on my walk with the dogs this afternoon. I was in search of the perfect picture with texture. I took several pictures. Also a picture of the outside of Kohl’s. But I had to settle on one. I decided to go with this semi-petrified log (that is partly buried in sand and also has a piece of tumbleweed laying on it):

When I first saw your log picture I thought I was looking down onto a mountain range in some arid country! I love the detail you captured, which can be appreciated more in the enlargements.
